Friday Drop In

If you're arriving for Kiwicon on Friday, there's plenty of things going on. We'll be continuing last year's successful Kiwicon Friday Drop-In Centre at Meow, where you can turn up, hang out with the Kiwicon Crue, pick up your tickets and merch, get a cup of coffee or a pint of awesome craft beer, and meet your fellow kiwiconners. 

There'll be a number of events running there, which we're still arranging. These will almost certainly include:

• A lockpicking workshop
• An arduino/electronics workshop
• Hacker geocaching!
• and more to be announced

The details of these will percolate up in the next couple of weeks, and we'll provide forms for signup for the events that need it. If you want to run something - maybe a flower pressing course? - let us know, and we'll help sort out logistics. 

Beyond core Kiwicon, our various chums will be running things too; in2security are cooking something up, and the Girl Geek Dinner crew are planning something for all you Kiwicon Ladies. Spooks, feds, govz and mil will no doubt be sipping expensive taxpayer funded cocktails at the NZITF con, and of course there's the Kiwicon Speaker and VIP Party...
